Biffle Water Well Service was started in 1955 by Jack and Jimmy Jack Biffle in Muenster, Texas. Anderson Water Well Service was started in 1970 in Bridgeport, Texas and was merged into Biffle Water Well Service in 2006.

The company's primary business is drilling and servicing water supply wells for Barnett Shale producers throughout the Fort Worth Basin. The company operates four top head drive rigs with depth capacity to 1,800' for large diameter water wells. The company also operates four service rigs and pump hoists for completing new wells and servicing existing wells.

Biffle Water Well Service was chosen by President George W. Bush to drill a water well on his ranch in Crawford, Texas.
