| A & W Water Service Inc. was started in 1954 by Charles Wright who worked the DJ Basin in Eastern Colorado and Nebraska. Charles’ three sons Ron, Don, and Gary, who have been servicing the oil field industry in the Fort Lupton, Colorado area since 1972, joined their father at A & W in 1979. A & W Water Service has now been in operation for 50 years. Several employees have more than 20 years of experience. Primary services include oil field water hauling, frac tank rental, and flatbed hauling. A & W Water Service owns an industrial water well and operates a pipe yard. A water truck rental division rents equipment for dust control and construction work in the Rocky Mountain region. A & W Water Service's fabrication facility installs water tanks and vacuum tanks on customer vehicles, and provides other custom fabrication work as needed. Equipment includes 20 Water Transport and 4 Bobtail Water Trucks, 5 Winch Trucks, 100 Frac Tanks, several Flatbed Trailers, and assorted Forklifts. Rental Equipment includes 17 - 2000 gallon Water Trucks, 7 - 3500 gallon Water Trucks, and 4" and 6" Trash Pumps.
