| Oil Tool Rentals is a rental and fishing company established by Buddy Row in 1981, who sold the company to Harold Hamm that same year. Buddy Row returned to Oil Tool Rentals in 1987 as president. Headquartered in Enid, Oklahoma, Oil Tool Rentals specializes in pipe recovery, drill outs, deepening, and re-entry of old wells. In 1996 Oil Tool Rentals purchased drill pipe and other drilling tools for operations in North Dakota and Montana. In 2004, Oil Tool Rentals opened a second yard in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to service expanding exploration, development, and workover activity in the Anadarko Basin.
